Lance Williams, an investigative reporter at the San Francisco Chronicle, tells University of Hawaii students about his battle over confidential sources for articles about steroid use by bigtime athletes. Williams also spoke to a Hawaii Pacific University class and keynoted the regional's luncheon on April 14.
Adm. Gary Roughead gives a frank talk about the U.S. Pacific Fleets role in the Pacific in a keynote address April 13.
The opening night reception was at the Waikiki Yacht Club on April 12.
